This guide is the answer to figuring out how to even start understanding Lua code. Throughout this book, there will be definitions and code blocks that work if you were to write and run it in a Roblox Studio script.

This guide will not hold your hand creating an obby or making a shop that uses gold. Think of it as supplemental reading to understand why what you’re making works.

As a short introduction, I’m MihkelMacaroni, also known as Michael in real life. I created MihkelMacaroni as a brand to create infotainment around my interests, in this case, Roblox. This is the guide I would have killed to have open in another window while I worked in Roblox Studio. Sometimes, you’ll come across a word you recognize means something but you’re unsure if it’s something simple or something complex. Searching it on Google can be tricky and you might not get the answer you want. To save time learning simple things, I would have opened this guide instead, pressed Ctrl + F to open the search bar, typed in my word, and read up on what does this mean and how might someone use it? It’s going to be a life saver.
